Job Description :
Contract Administrator shall possess a Quantity Surveying or Engineering Degree from accredited Institute / University with a minimum post experience of Fifteen (15) years in contract administration.
Establishes and maintains contract records and ensures compliance with contractual terms and conditions. Monitors compliance to contract requirements ensuring all conditions are satisfied before approval of the final invoice.
Work closely with the Scheduler / Planner and the QS / Cost Controller with respect to the assessment and evaluation of the Variation Orders and Contractor’s claims for time extension and / or Cost impact on the Project Period and Budget.
Work closely with the Risk Manager to identify, assess, mitigate the project risks and how these are balanced to derive optimum solutions.
To notify through Project Director, after coordination with the Risk Manager and the Scheduler, any of the two Parties to whom the expected risk is attributable to take immediate measures to mitigate the risk consequences.
Propose to the PM after coordination with Project Management, Supervision and Design Consultant Teams a Value Engineering for Reducing Cost or Time, improving efficiency, or be of benefit to the Employer and forwarding the same to the Employer for its approval.
The candidate shall demonstrate a good knowledge of contract / documents management system, ability to handle complex tasks, demonstrate communication, organization and analytical skills on claims / disputes with appropriate recommendation and reports to the Project Director.
The candidate shall be very fluent in both English and Arabic language and good in PC skills. The candidate shall have excellent communication and writing skills in both English and Arabic.
