About Your Job :
You will be responsible to control the day to day activities of the Linen Department.
You will ensure smooth functioning of the department in relation to the washing production, cost control, resource planning, operational change management and reporting.
You will ensure proper maintenance of stock movement for the flight preparation.
You will also be responsible to forecast linen requirement based on time table and schedule provided by the airline.
You will also need to deliver the best possible service at a minimum as those outlined within the customer SLA.
About You :
To be successful in this role, you should have :
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
At least 4 years of job related experience, in a supervisory capacity from an airline catering company or high volume commercial laundry company
Sound knowledge of MS Office and Outlook
Practical knowledge of handling linen product in terms of washing process, folding styles, packing specifications, storage, etc.
Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow
Strong mentoring and coaching skills, ability to train and develop subordinates' skills and ability to foster teamwork among team members
It is preferred to have :
Certificate in Textile or relevant discipline as well as HACCP certification or related training
Technical training and presentation skills as well as ability to prepare training modules, conduct class room and on site training
