InterContinental Doha is looking fora Assistant Manager Human Resources to join our team. We are lookingfor someone who can undertake below duties and responsibilities;
Ensure thatall activities are completed with the best possible result and withindepartmental financial guidelines, budgets and manning levels.
Manage allpurchasing request and procedures for the department.
Manage alldisciplinary and investigation procedure and ensure hotel policy and legalcompliance.
Educate andguide managers on progressive disciplinary process.
Ensurecolleague services like accommodation and employee restaurant are maintained atappropriate level of standard.
Ensure allrelevant colleague information is updated in Civil Soft system.
Monitor thePerformance Management Cycle for IC Doha colleagues, lease with Learning &Development Manager to ensure that all IHG guidelines are followed in thisregard and run efficiently.
Manage thedevelopment of HR & Training team inline with PDP process.
Manage theattendance of HR at meetings / events within other departments.
Manage theexit interview process.
Providequality feedback and accurate statistics to higher management on a timelybasis.
Escalateserious issues in a timely manner.
Produce monthlyand daily statistical reports
Manage theHealth and Safety function within HR & Training.
Ensure thatthe HR department follows standards in relation to HR and Brand Audit andachieves required ratings.
Managerelationships with educational establishments and key company offices,departments and people.
Work with thelegal policies as specified by the Qatari government and to apply all companypolicies and procedures in required areas.
Perform alltasks as directed by Dir. of Human Resources in pursuit of the achievement ofbusiness goals.
Take moraland legal responsibility for colleagues conducting themselves in their work sothey do not expose themselves or others to risk.
Report allaccidents, dangerous occurrences, or hazards, no matter how minor, to theSupervisor or Heads of Department.

Hold a Bachelor’s Degree, Higher Education qualification or equivalent in related field
2 years of experience in a similar role in a five-star hotel complexmarket.
Preferably can speak Arabic
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Be results-driven, with a demonstrable track record in exceeding targets
Ability to analyze and evaluate data against key performance indicators
Leadership skills, particularly the ability to motivate and inspire others
Be a solutions-focused team player with a can-do’ attitude
Superior time management and relationship building skills
