Job Specifications :
The Sous Chef Wok works close with the Executive Chinese Chef. S / he plans and execute creative menus for the Chinese restaurant.
S / he drives activities aiming to provide a reputable quality of food for hotel guests and continuous innovation and creativity.
S / he ensures smooth operation in the kitchen areas and proper products control. S / he strives to continually improve guest and colleagues satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget.
S / he adheres to food safety and health standards of the hotel and ensures team compliance of food safety culture. S / he must also provide supervision and training to the team based on the company culture and colleagues requirement.
Job Qualifications :
The Sous Chef Wok must be creative, motivated, proactive, vibrant, innovative, and desires to delight our guests and colleagues.
S / he is also flexible, able to work long hours and assist other areas whenever needed.
S / he is required to have a minimum of 2 years work experience in the same capacity. Excellent communication skills in English, strong organizational abilities, and have the computer skills (e.
g. Excel, Power point, word, requisitions system, etc.).
