About Job :
To provide leadership and direction on all aspects of in-flight services activity, including the development and promotion of the highest level of airline industry standards and procedures as well as the creation, support and management of the same.
To effectively manage the communication of changes in policies, standards and procedures to the entire Cabin Crew population, ensuring the formulation and timely releases of relevant information.
Prepare the Standards & Procedures annual budget in line with the unit’s fiscal requirements.
You will be accountable for :
Formulate and recommend cabin crew inflight services standards, its amendments and revisions that are consistent with corporate and departmental goals and objectives.
Formulate, recommend, implement and oversee Standards and Procedures’ annual objectives, ensuring internal policies and procedures are consistent with QRHR and Cabin Services Department and KPIs that are all aligned with corporate and departmental goals and objectives and in coordination with Senior Manager Customer Affairs and Quality.
Oversee the development of customer service standards and procedures in order to continually Provide safe, clear, effective and customer oriented in-
flight service standards and procedures
Oversee the development, writing, production and crew website publication of inflight services procedures and quick reference materials.
Ensure Cabin service and quick reference materials’ amended pages are released and ensure all Cabin Services training materials are updated.
Manage the communication of changes in policies, standards and procedures to all Cabin Crew through the issue Service Updates and Notices.
Recommend and monitor the annual Standards and Procedures budget to ensure it meets the unit’s fiscal requirements.
Coordinate with suppliers for the acquisition of new aircraft or in the re-design of existing aircraft to ensure Cabin Services standard requirements are maintained and remain consistent with established standards.
About You :
To be successful in this role you must have :
Relevant College or University qualification to min Bachelor’s Level or Equivalent
Master Degree or Post graduate qualification in Management, Aviation or F&B is preferred.
Minimum 10 years relevant experience
At least 5 years in a managerial or Supervisory role leading a team of direct reports.
Previous experience in managing the standards and procedures unit or service design team in an international airline.
Strong knowledge and understanding of international standards for on-board product,
Aware of QR cabin services standards and procedures
Excellent command of the English language
