About the Job :

As a Lead Systems Implementations Officer, you will be responsible for the Project Management and Implementation of cargo system related features and enhancements as per the business requirements of internal and external stakeholders.

You will ensure seamless transition by coordinating with Cargo IT team, external solutions providers and key internal business users.

You will be expected to advise on the latest available technology in the industry and deliver state of the art products based on business needs.

Accountability :

  • Responsible for documentation of the business requirements based on discussion with end users.
  • Create project plans with timelines based on target date set by the user departments. You will lead project implementation and transition plan with the business.
  • Prepare Standard Operating Procedures for all new project implementation.
  • Prepare user acceptance test plans, test data and test cases and ensure all the scenarios are working as expected.
  • Ensure product implementation meets business requirements with reference to data migration and system implementation.
  • Provide regular inputs during the preparation f IT budget for Capex and Opex project.
  • Evaluating and recommending to QR management on the latest technology available in the market.
  • Constantly monitor the test performance and recommend any change in processes needed to be implemented for easy transition for the business users.
  • Evaluate the high risk issues and concerns and escalate it to the project heads.
  • Checks inventory of the daily task that are to be performed within the department and see that the task is completed.
  • About You :

    You must have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university with a project management certification or minimum 5 years of experience with IT relates projects.

    You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in IT related projects within the airline industry in a similar role. Experience in transition and implementation of systems is also required for this role.

  • Strong presentation skills are required, and problem solving and Judgement & Analysis competencies are also required for this role.
  • Good analytical and decision making skills is desired. You should be aware of change management and process development techniques.

    You should be a self-starter with high energy levels and the ability to work in a high pressure environment. You will be a strong people manager with excellent communication skills in English.
