Job Purpose :
The technical officer has to accomplish PTC’s, (passenger terminal complex), five star standards by assessing assets’ treatment needs, develop, monitor, and evaluate plans and schedules, monitor staff performance and facilitate interdisciplinary approaches to the daily operations in the airport within the contract specification and to the agreed performance, qualitative and financial targets.
He is responsible for corrective and preventive maintenance of assets which includes power distribution panel, lighting control, lighting inverters, UPS, VFD control, (variable frequency device).
Job Responsibilities :
Plan and undertake scheduled maintenance.
Supervise and coordinate technical staff working by shifts.
Respond to breakdowns and diagnose the faults then create maintenance procedures.
Understand and update technical drawings.
Ensure all works are carried out in a timely manner in accordance with SLA requirements to meet relevant KPI’s.
Briefs the technicians on MS / RA / COSHH for them to understand the hazards, risks and protective measures to be taken before working on a given task.
Promptly report to the engineer any hazard or risk that is found not included in the MS / RA
Follow HSEQ requirements and maintain proper housekeeping in the areas where the materials / tools are stored.
Collaborate with the engineer and HSEQ team in closing the preventive and corrective actions arising from accidents and incidents.
Diploma in electrical engineering or equivalent.
Profound technical knowledge in LV systems.
Knowledge in managing HSE.
Experience & Skills :
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a compatible facility, (airports, hospitals, hospitality, shopping centers or buildings up to 50.000m2)
Electrical engineering apprenticeship or training
