Job Specifications :
The Events Manager responds and manages all incoming groups, social events, and weddings. She is responsible for sales negotiation, closing business deals, and signing sales contracts.
She is attentive to regional, national and industry wide events / exhibitions for sales forecast and business pick up. She works directly with the event’s organizer ensuring professional and seamless result.
Job Qualifications :
The Events Manager must be proactive, organized, and self-driven. She must be a role model and leads the team with commitment.
She must also be attentive to guests and colleagues needs.
She is required to have a minimum of 2 years work experience in the same capacity (preferably in a luxury hotel). She must be a diploma / degree holder in hospitality management with excellent command in English and Arabic language (oral and written).
She must have a successful track record in social events specifically with the ability to deliver profit, control costs, and build guests loyalty.
Qatar market knowledge and experience is an advantage.
