Responsible for maintaining the Qatar Airways Security Programme for the network and any associated amendments. Maintaining Company Security Standards and Procedures, preparing Security Bulletins and Notices for Aircrew and the ground personnel.
Is the first point of contact for conducting investigations and preparing investigation reports into various forms of conduct and behaviour and security breaches in Qatar or at any outstation worldwide.
Interacting with the Civil Aviation Authorities and be the voice for Qatar Airways if representing on any Deficiency Notices or failed audits at outstations.
To review, re-design and develop the QR Security Programme following the standards set by ICAO and the State Regulator (QCAA).
To review and evaluate the security occurrence reports and to ensure that these are fit for purpose.
To create efficiencies in the blacklist process and the Denial of Carriage Policy.
Manage the Security Management System for the department (AQD) ensuring that all security incidents (worldwide) are logged, monitored and closed out in an appropriate way as the developing and busy system requires constant monitoring and management in order for it to be effective.
Ensure all Security incidents are managed and logged correctly within the data base. Provide daily weekly and monthly reports to VP Aviation Security.
Conduct investigations into criminal and disciplinary matters across Qatar Airways Group. Conduct, when necessary, company-
wide investigations into various form of behaviour whether they are criminal or disciplinary. Prepare investigation reports making sound recommendations to local management concerning outcomes of investigations.
Prepare Security Bulletins and Notices for Aircrew and Offices by preparing draft documents in accordance with directives, obtaining VP Aviation Security’s approval of all draft documents as well as overseeing the final of the approved draft document for accuracy and quality and checking that the draft complies with regulatory directives and conforms to company requirements.
Reviews and maintains a distribution list for the Qatar Airways Security Programme. Ensures access to the Qatar Airways Security Programme is available to new outstations and offices, as applicable, and obtain receipts from all addressees.
Ensures issued Qatar Airways Security Manuals are withdrawn when Airports or Offices are disestablished. Ensures that aerodocs access of the Qatar Airways Security Programme is correct to meet the requirements of the company.
Responsibility for the maintenance of key security policy manuals, operational security programs, security standards, security procedures, bulletins and notices to Aircrew and offices, in consultation with external and internal staff and agencies that are key to the role.
Perform other department duties related to his / her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

Previous Experience : Essential
Minimum 8 years relevant experience
ICAO / IATA Experience.
Aviation security experience.
Previous investigation experience in either a law enforcement or corporate security environment.
