Tasks :

Main Accountabilities : -

1. Volume and profit :

Sell Services on Transformers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for Power Transformers Service Business Unit with Strong focus should be place on OR and OR GM%.

2. Customer relations :

Establish and maintain effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full power transformer services offering.

3. Sales plans :

Prepare sales plans using company tools. Perform regular status reviews and proposes recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls.

4. Sales :

Create added value for the customer and ABB and ensures the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals by using effective sales techniques.

Communicate details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy (delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions).

5. Technical support :

Ensure efficient technical support activities and value proposition of Power Transformers Service to customers. Deeply experience to define the best technical solution.

6. New market opportunities :

Identify and drive the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and ensures know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.

7. Administration :

Manage administrative procedures in sales processes, and supports collection and project management activities when needed.

8. Offer preparation :

Prepare offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department. Ensure appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions.

9. Support all commercial efforts related to TRES portfolio for GCC region and Strong promotion of our PG application across the region.

  • 10. Develop and implement marketing and sales plan to meet or exceed sales and margin targets for the account. This includes, but is not limited to;
  • customer visits, job site visits, sales presentations, and industry event attendance and participation, and account plans for key customers.

  • 11. Review and analyze customer service specifications. Coordinating input from various departments including, but not limited to;
  • operations, finance and legal to develop proposals respective of customer requirements.

    12. Drive WCFE engagement to ensure the full team across GCC is hunting for service opportunities.

    Requirements :

    Ideally you should have a degree in Electrical, Electro-Mechanical, Mechanical, Industrial or other related field or equivalent work experience field with minimum of 5 to 7 years of Transformers service cycle experience, such as engineering, sales or Project Management.

    Knowledge of transformers, transformer products and their applications with demonstrated understanding and application of Transformer Service Sales techniques and track record creating, negotiating and closing deals is required.

    The role require fluency in both English and Arabic (French of added benefit) with an ability to travel moderately within assigned territory (50%).
