Directing mechanical inspectors to issues related to site / project works. Assist the Lead Mechanical Engineer. Performs complex technical work in support of project work.
Recommends appropriate actions to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and all local regulations. Reviewing and approving contractors’ mechanical shop drawings, as-
built drawings, material submissions, and the like, and responding to mechanical RFIs, NCRs, etc.
Responsible for leading construction teams with respect to the mechanical construction aspects of the Project
Coordinate mechanical design implementation and assist the Lead Mechanical Engineer
Assist with development of mechanical construction cost estimates for projects
Prepares on-site design solutions related to mechanical works
Performs complex technical work in support of project work.
Recommends appropriate actions to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and all local regulations
Significant level of judgement is required in making selections and adaptions of engineering alternatives
Preparing technical proposals and reports
Reviewing and approving contractors’ mechanical shop drawings, as-built drawings, material submissions, and the like, and responding to mechanical RFIs, NCRs, etc.
Follow up on inspections of installations and review inspectors’ performance on a regular basis
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Specific Skills required :
Coordinate with other disciplines / team members
Understand project scope in general, and AECOM’s scope specifically, and act accordingly
Ability to manage budgets.
Software knowledge in AutoCAD, Micro Soft Office etc.
Possesses extensive, progressive technical experience in engineering and requisite skills in multiple areas.
Independently applies advanced engineering and analyses for problems and methods.
