About Your Job : :
This role is to support and develop the Procurement Department at the Qatar Airways Group. This involves data analysis, project management, process development and review, system administration and implementation and supporting all processes related to procure and and to pay cycle.
Candidates should have a detailed procure to pay knowledge, drive for improvement and be capable of achieving targets and deadlines, where many stakeholders are involved.
This is a strategic role focusing on cost savings, compliance, strategy, development and governance of Procurement.
Key Accountabilities include :
Analyze and review procurement category plans
Review and suggest Cost Savings Opportunities for QR Group
Forward planning for Procurement Activities
Procurement Project Management
Provide high service levels for QR Group including timelines, professionalism, communications and expectations.
Develop processes, policies, SOPs and manual to support Procurement and the service provided
Provide regular status updates to internal user departments and suppliers on procurement projects, acting as primary point of contact.
Develop relationships with end users, working together to optimize and leverage volumes and specifications, challenging these where required, vetting received souring requests
Track supplier performance
Procurement reporting and actions
Review and development of Department KPIs
Work closely with all Stakeholder departments on process, KPIs, strategy and upcoming needs.
Deliver high quality, accurate work to internal customers, managers and suppliers.
Proactively seek to provide solutions to operational problems
Support the teams objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives
Be accountable for decisions taken and project delivery
Plan, delegate and monitor staff work appropriately and assist team members in problem resolution
Show initiative in anticipating future issues, planning for them and executing plans on a timely basis
Experience & Qualifications :
Relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Minimum 5 years relevant experience within an Airline industry
