1. Competitive Intelligence :
Collect data and provide sound market and competitive intelligence analysis related to market and local / country trends.
Participate with management to contribute to strategic plans, definition, and support relevant implementation.
2. Market Analysis :
Prepare analysis of internal sales, technical and financial data, and external market data. Interpret resulting data and make recommendations to marketing and sales management.
Build sales analysis regarding channels, segments, geographic areas, customers, products, systems, and services. Inform the management of market research and analysis results that identify gaps or new opportunities for growth.
3. Product Lifecycle :
Manage new product launch and lifecycle from phase-in to phase-out. Coordinate and supervise the product road map. Define and oversee recovery plans as necessary.
4. Product Monitoring :
Oversee inventory levels and sales volumes on a regular basis to ensure ability to fulfill customer orders. Track and analyze product performance and trends in terms of volume and on time delivery.
5. Sales Support :
Ensure technical and commercial support to sales force for critical or special negotiations.
6. Marketing Plan :
Collaborate with internal marketing and sales teams to define the marketing plan, including marketing communication activities, training activities and sales initiatives.
7. Progress Review :
Extract and analyze data from sales / financial tools to measure effectiveness of current marketing activities and provides updates to management.
8. Tools :
Assist in the development of marketing tools to support marketing and sales teams. Trains sales personnel on proper use of sales tracking system (i.
e. Prosales) and monitor ongoing data quality.
Ideally you should have a university degree in electrical engineering from a reputed institution with minimum 5 years’ of product marketing experience and an understanding of product management concepts.
In depth knowledge of the distribution automation products (MV Automations products) is required. Good understanding of customer relationship and using concept-
thinking to quickly engage ABB and panel builder, distributor or service teams to meet the requirements is required for this role.
