About Your Job :
As Senior Manager for HR Business Support, you will provide leadership and management to the HR Business Partnering teams.
You and your team will provide Executive Management and Line Managers across specific Qatar Airways divisions / business area with strategic services and consulting on people-related issues.
In this generalist role, you will lead the team in HR Business Support in activities including organisational design, insights, strategy and solution development, organisational development, resourcing and talent planning, learning and talent development, performance and reward, employee engagement, employee relations, service delivery and information.
You will embed the HR Business Support function and the business partner model within the relevant business area which you are supporting.
You will lead the team to deliver a service that is fully aligned to the needs of the business and encourage adopting a solution focused approach.
You will review and further develop the service provided to the organisation by the team engaging with and building positive relationships with the business to ensure that their requirements are at the centre of the design and delivery of services.
You will innovate and challenge established methods to secure continuous improvements. You will plan and organise the team to enable the achievement of key objectives and key performance indicators ensuring that resources are targeted on the businesses priorities and meeting customer needs.
The position reports to the Vice President for HR Business Support.
About You :
You will have a Bachelor’s degree with a minumum of 10 years of HR experience, performing at a leadership level. You must have operational exposure to range of HR and general business disciplines and be able to develop strategic initiatives as well as implementing processes and operational solutions.
You must have effective team management and leadership with excellent understanding of best practice HR management theories.
You must have the ability to lead and deliver quality HR generalist support at a strategic level. You must be business oriented, have good understanding of business requirements and be used to working in a fast paced working environment.
You will have excellent English written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate to all levels within the organisation.
Actively interested in what’s going on with a questioning attitude and willingness to learn. We need you to have strong influencing skills, strong leadership ability and innovative mind set.
You must be able to engage, inspire and influence people as well as being able to drive solutions whenever required. Strong analytical abilities, excellent facilitation skills and strong project management skills are an important requirement of the role.
