Duties and Responsibilities Sales and Market Manager To ensure that each Food and Beverage outlets are managed successfully as an independent profit center To ensure that each outlet is being managed and accountable for their profitability To monitor all costs and to recommend measures to control them To monitor service and food and beverage standards in all outlet and restaurants and to assist during peak periods To work with the Outlet Managers Waiters and respective Chefs de Cuisine to take corrective action where necessary To coordinate the formulation of the Annual Marketing Plan for each profit center with marketing activities which become part of the Annual Business Plan To identify market needs for both restaurant guests and the local market To monitor and analyze the activities and trends of competitive restaurants To ensure that all F B Management Teams are fully aware of market needs and trends and that their products meet these requirements To recruit and select Food and Beverage waiters servers and crews who are able to work within the decentralized management philosophy To train and develop employees so that they are able to operate independently within their own profit centers To ensure that each Outlet Head plans and implements effective training programs for their staff with the Training Manager and Departmental Trainers To develop departmental trainers and assign training responsibilities with coordination with the Human resources department To supervise the employees within the department ensuring that the correct standards and methods of service are maintained as stated in the Departmental Operations Manual To ensure that all employees have a complete understanding of and adhere to the policies relating to Fire Hygiene Health and Safety To carry out quarterly biyearly yearly inventory of operating equipment Franchise for Coffee Shop Prepare and execute the marketing strategy for Companys franchisee opportunity attracting newer franchisees Develop the budget for franchise development Monitor and ensure that budgets are met Identify and research potential markets to launch new franchisee and advise CEO Board of new opportunities Identify and locate potential franchisee in the selected markets discovering and exploring opportunities Screen potential franchisee by analyzing investment requirements franchisees potential and financials franchisee experience and vision Finalize the deal with franchisee by negotiating terms and conditions of each franchisee agreement Responsible for the launch and development of the franchisee as per the agreed terms and conditions Assist in the development of Franchise Business Plans Ensure that Companys brand is communicated and maintained in all franchisee communications and marketing activities Develop the franchise audit plan and conduct the audits Ensure that the franchisee is in compliance with legal and statutory policies and procedures Franchise legal responsibilities ensure franchise agreement renewals fee payment collection and keeping franchise agreements up to date with current legislation Develop the training program for the franchisee Conduct the trainings as per the program Ensure that franchisee and its staff are trained enough to provide the service experience in line with Companys customer policies
