Main Purpose of Job :

Lead and develop assigned Category & Channel strategies & initiatives to deliver agreed objectives / targets

Key Outputs :

Ensure development and execution of Category Channel Plan for the assigned Category & Channel in line with business requirements

Work at trade level to integrate Nestle and customer planning processes across the category management area

Support KA management team in planning and execution of customer specific activation

Determine prioritized products by category and channel

Follow up on category and channel management projects

Support channel / sales managers when establishing customer strategies

Ensure achievement of agreed Category Channel targets / KPIs (NPS, RIG, TS, CCS, Forecast accuracy etc.)

  • Assist sales head in monthly target setting by Channel / FSR based on activity plans
  • Assist sales head in improving demand planning accuracy and reflect read demands in MFR
  • Ensure implementation and periodic update / follow up of Category Channel Plan
  • Develop promotional activities; maintain in the system data and follow up on the budgets

    Support in development of Customer and Field Sales Plans

    Steer key marketing projects at the OPC (in close coordination with Sales and Category marketing teams)

    Identify killer operator Insight / actionable idea and develop in-store execution

    Coordinate field research for category / channel; analyze and report the outcomes

    Gain operator and end consumer insights / support sales and marketing

    Effectively manage Category Channel specific budget

    Manage TTS & PFME budgets

    Create budget & allocate approved PFME budget

    Implement P2P activities with a proven record to improve NNS

    Manage & follow-up on TTS regularly and generate reports by category / channel

    Measure and evaluate trade promotion performance

    Ensure adherence to all Company principles and policies

    Collaborate with peer CCSD to share Category Channel best practices / insights, liaise with Marketing, Field Sales, Finance and Supply Chain to drive Category, Channel and Consumer related initiatives

    Measurements / Performance Indicators :

    Input to Category Channel strategy. Development of Plan for the assigned Category or Channel or combination

    Target vs. Actual performance (monthly / yearly)

    Target vs. Actual performance (volume / value, KPIs and timely execution of the Activities)

    Input to Customer and Field Sales Plans

    Development and execution of POP initiatives based on Consumer understanding

    Actual spending vs. Allocated budget

    Audit (Nestle Group Audit)

    Number of initiatives implemented linked to the key outputs

    Key Experiences :

    Minimum 1 year in marketing or sales within the OOH industry, or part of sales and marketing trainee programme

    Demonstrated high level leadership / project management qualities in school / university and during previous work experience

    Delivered on KPIs on previous positions

    Knowledge : Nestlé Corporate / Functional / Market / Business / Organizational :

    Knowledge of interrelationship of key functions and their key initiatives (Sales, Marketing, HR, Supply Chain)

    Knowledge of core Business Processes (Channel Management, Sales / Distribution, Customer Planning and Managing, Training, HR Policies, Traceability, Quality Fundamentals, etc

    Knowledge of Integrated Commercial Planning process

    Basic knowledge of Nestlé Management and Leadership Principles, NiM Function,

    SGDU / SBU Tools (Best Practices)

    Knowledge of Shopper Insight into actionable ideas, Market Intelligence, Category / Channel / Shopper trends
