About the Job :
You will be primarily responsible to deliver training programmes for IOC workforce in accordance with an agreed training plan to increase the level of relevant skills and knowledge.
You will take the lead in driving the development of strategic and business plans with concurrent training & development and suggest corrective / preventive actions to bring improvement in IOC procedures.
The role is critical to the ongoing and further development and success of the department and to maximise the benefits received from the trainings.
You will gather, analyse and evaluate all recommendations for improvements, measuring and tracking performance and efficiency and identifying any areas for improvement.
You will have to ascertain that the participants meet the prerequisites for training and their skills are upgraded to meet the job requirements and enhance work related performance and professional skills by delivering courses.
Also to ensure the use of latest knowledge / information that will provide additional or higher level of competencies and to maintain International Standards and create an environment that supports learning.

You will maintain close contact with Qatar Airways IT and numerous vendors and other airlines to stay abreast of the industry offerings and developments which will entail vendor liaison, conferences, visits and regular contact.

To be successful in this role you should be a graduate from a recognized university with at least 5 years of work experience in a similar profile.
Broad experience in airline operations with hands on experience on different eLearning authority tools will be an advantage.
Working within a team, you will need to work to present targets and timelines as a team; and show initiative and originality at the same time.
You may be required to work on weekend and irregular hours. Hence would require having a flexible and positive attitude.
You should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational and planning skills, strong interpersonal and team working skills, sound knowledge of MS office with high level of Presentation skills, experience in teaching and training in a multi-
cultural environment is preferred.
