The incumbent

is responsible for implementing suitable services for ESB and e-Channels

application solutions to ensure their effective operations to meet the Bank’s

objectives. The incumbent is also responsible for providing production support


  • Development, implementation, enhancement and support of the Bank’s e-Channels and ESB applications (IIB)
  • Development of new services based on Business requirements.
  • Support all e-Channel and ESB applications
  • Oversee the identification, design and implementation of appropriate security measures / controls in relation to the e-Channels and ESB
  • Enforce compliance with Bank’s system development lifecycle (SDLC) methodology in relation to the e-Channels and ESB.
  • Provide technical leadership and expertise in relation to e-Channels and ESB, as and when required.
  • Manage the unit’s resources to mitigate disruption of services and recurring problems and issues.
  • Communicate recurring and / or serious issues to Senior Management in a timely manner.
  • Engage the Network Administrators, Network Security Administrators, Quality Assurance team and suitable external security service providers to conduct vulnerability assessments of the bank’s e-
  • Channels and ESB application, in a periodic basis.

  • Monitor the articulation of alternate approaches in solving problems and provide advice towards the most efficient and effective approach.
  • Enable increased business value creation across all lines of business through migration of the customer base towards e-channels.
  • Recommend viable solutions to improve customer service, satisfaction and response.
  • Constantly review existing e-Channels and ESB services and suggest appropriate upgrade.
  • Oversee response to queries and ensure timely resolutions of all issues pertaining to e-Channels and ESB
  • Ensure compliance with all QA policies / procedures and standards.
  • Ensure high standards of confidentiality to safeguard commercially sensitive information.

  • Allocate work to employees, nominate for training as per QIB’s guidelines, conduct performance reviews and manage leave and overtime to ensure efficiency.
  • Supervise direct reportees in their day-to-day tasks and guide them in managing their performance by providing appropriate feedback and counseling.
  • Job Requirements

    About 6-8 years of related experience of which a minimum of 2-3 years

    should be in a similar position / responsibility, preferably in a similar
