The primary function of this role is effective risk management and responsible for leading the legal function in the provision of astute, commercially aware legal advices to the business, to effectively handle business risk within acceptable levels whilst facilitating the businesses strategic and operational objectives.
You will be a key member of the leadership team and will be required to take a leadership role in the business and seek to understand key strategic drivers of the company in order to enable the provision of appropriately tailored advice and maximise the value that the legal function brings to the business.
You will be responsible for building an added value in-house legal support service that combines professional legal knowledge, expertise and experience with sound commercial / business acumen and an ability to realistically assess and communicate risk.
