This is an exciting opportunity within one of the world’s largest catering companies. Would you like a challenging and varied management position that is based at the prestigious Hamad International Airport (HIA) in Doha, serving Qatar Airways and partner flights?
The position covers all aspects of catering. You will have the overall responsibility of ensuring that the Airline Services department delivers with regards to KPI's, cost, budgets, SLA's and compliance.
You will be responsible for developing the department in line with the future needs of the business, ensuring all processes are performed in an efficient manner.
You will develop strategy for the departments needs in terms of space, employees, process and ensuring cost and efficiencies are embedded.
About You :
In this position, you will be require todevelop future strategy for the business needs ensuring the departments requirements are identified and represented.
You will design and implements appropriate audit programs to assess and drive the department's performance in line with Qatar Aircraft Catering Company (QACC) and customer expectations.
Additionally, you will be in charge of the Structure succession planning within the department to ensure continuity of service, continued development and efficiencies through future business growth.
You will ensure to establish the department's vehicle fleet requirements for future demands of the business as well as develop contingency plans and risk management for the department in conjunction with the company's subject matter experts.
Furthermore, you will managing all operational aspects of the Service Delivery department to ensure product and service requirements are met to the agreed budgets and KPI's.
Moreover, you will be leading your team by overseeing and supervising the daily activities such as recruiting, training, developing and discipline to ensure a high standard of service delivery.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills :
In order to be considered for this role, you would possess a Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent and would have a minimum 5 years relevant experience.
You would have a minimum 3 years’ experience in in-flight catering operations in a managerial position and would possess strong IT skill.
A successful candidate would be a natural leader, with the ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage work flow.
