About Your Job :
As Quality Assurance Engineer level 2, you will responsible to ensure that constant maintenance standards applied to QTR and customer aircraft are satisfied to the requirements to QCAR Parts 145, M, 147 and EASA Parts 145 and 147.
You will carry out planned and ad-hoc quality surveillance, audits independently when performing such task individually or under Senior Quality Assurance Engineer when part of team to identify and record any finding, initiate / recommend solutions and report audit result to the Manager Quality system visa SQAE as part of ongoing Quality Assurance Program.
You will follow up and verify the implementation of corrective action within specified timescale to ensure company’s product and performance meet acceptable standards and make recommendation as necessary.
Review regulatory changes and update keeping current company technical procedures and manuals.
You will involves in preparation of Quality Notices and Quality leaflets.
Participate in the assessment boards (technical, procedures and practical) for the purpose of granting / extending / renewing Qatar Airways authorisations for certifying staff, support staff and non-
aircraft authorized staff.
You communicate effectively with internal and external customers in consultation with Senior Quality Assurance Engineer when required.
Ensure that quality related matters and airworthiness concerns are actioned accordingly to QR standards.
About You :
To be selected for this role, you must have a relevant college or university qualification to min Bachelors’ level or equivalent to Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or Aeronautical Engineering or holder of ICAO type II license.
You must have QCAA or EASA part 145, M, & 147 training and training on auditing techniques certificates. Preferably have training on at least 2 aircraft types operated by Qatar Airways.
You must have minimum 9 years relevant experience in continuing airworthiness / maintenance organisation environment / civil aviation authority or quality assurance functions.
For internal staff, you must have at least 2 years experience as EN.01 plus 2 or more experience on following : Audit / Authorization / ARC.
You have detailed knowledge of air legislation, particularly ICAO, QCAA, EASA & FAA regulation and knowledge of Quality and safety systems, continued airworthiness and aircraft maintenance fundamentals.
You must have strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural environment to all levels in the organization.
