Serves as Secretary to the Department Head in the assigned area. Responsibility includes routine secretarial, administrative, statistical and clerical tasks required by an office or function, performed with minimal supervision.
Principal Responsibilities :
1.Controls and updates the respective Department data for Document Flow;
2.Creates and maintains effectively filing systems. Initiates related changes and updates;
3.Coordinates more complex mass mailings;
4.Composes and edits internal and external correspondences and documents. Assists with preparation of materials such as typing, preparing and collating reports and folders during official meetings and events, etc.;
5.Assists with the coordination of events. Coordinates and communicates the needs and requirements;
6.Schedules complex appointments, meetings, travel arrangements;
7.Attends high-level meetings; records, interprets, drafts and distributes minutes from said meetings;
8.Resolves more complex problems in a thoroughly and timely manner; uses discretion in order to resolve issues and complete tasks;
9.Performs other related secretarial and administrative support duties as required.
Education : Minimum High School or equivalent qualification; additional Bachelor Degree in a Business Administration / Humanities related discipline is a plus;
Skills, Knowledge & Personal traits :
Proficient in MS Office Applications i.e. Word & Excel, PowerPoint; Graphics knowledge is a plus (i.e. Adobe).
Good keyboard typing skills (10 fingers blind typing is desired)
