The facilities manager accomplishes project objectives by planning andevaluating project activities at the exhibition centre and operate the FMservices as per the best industry practices and in compliance to the companystandards.
Your responsibilities will include :
Observing the proceduresas required by the contract.
Being the ultimateauthority over all the work required in completing the requirements of the contract.
Maintaining fullfinancials awareness and control.
Promoting Safety first - nocompromise’.
Introducing and promotingsustainable solutions for the facilities management delivery.
Preparing the monthlyprogress report and other required reports.
Ensuring the facility isready for exhibit / operations throughout the operating hours.
Managing the overall of servicedeliveries in the project.
Managing the supply chainpartners.
Collating and verifyingall asset information.
Yourexperience, knowledge and skills need to include :
Minimum 5 years’facilities management experience at a senior level.
Minimum 4 years’experience in managing exhibitions of public centres or community spaces ispreferred.
Minimum 7 years’ projectmanagement experience is preferred.
Significant businessdevelopment experience in sales and / or marketing is essential.
Established network withinfacilities management industry.
Strong negotiation,convincing and influencing skills.
Ability to accept changeand work flexibly.
Good numeracy skills.
Good IT skills.
Pragmatic approach andsense of humour.
Excellent communicator andteam player.
Excellent peoplemanagement skills.
A degreequalification in mechanical or electrical engineering or relevant discipline ispreferred.
Certificationin PMP / FMP or BIFM member is preferred.
