Qatar Aluminium Ltd, Qatalum, is a 50 / 50 Joint Venture between Qatar Petroleum (QP) and Hydro. When the plant comes in operation in late 2009 it will be one of the largest and most competitive primary aluminium plants in the world, with a production capacity of 585.

000 MT per year. The smelter-, casthouse-, carbon- and power plant will employ between 1100 - 1200 people.

The plant is located in Mesaieed in Qatar, some 40 kilometers from the capital Doha which is growing into a modern business centre and busy air traffic hub for the region.

This IS A SENIOR POSITION AND WILL ENSURE ALL ACCOUNTING ACTIVITIES ARE PERFORMED IN A TIMELY AND EFFICIENT MANNER IN ACCORDANCE WITH COMPANY policies and accoutning standards.

This role will be a critical part of the accounting department .
