About the company

Qatar Foundation is an established organization, with a variety of Centres, programs and plans for expansion, our process began with designing / reworking the mission statement of the Foundation and the Centres and then looking at the broader issues of vision.

Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development is a private, chartered, non-profit organization headquartered in Doha, Qatar.

The Foundation hosts branch campuses of Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts, Weill Cornell Medical College, Texas A & M University, Carnegie Mellon University and Georgetown University.

It is also home to Qatar Academy, the Learning Center, the Academic Bridge Program, the Rand-Qatar Policy Institute, Al-

Shaqab Stud and Riding Academy, Fitch Qatar and Qatar Science and Technology Park. Qatar Foundation’s other projects include the Qatar Diabetes Association and the Social Development Center.

Responsibilities

1) Primarily responsible for the chemical evaluation of finished goods, intermediate products and raw materials with cross-

functional participation in all the other functional areas of QC.

2) Developing and writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and other documentation for QC / QA support.

3) Perform routine QC assays and all other QC activities to support testing. Initiates corrective actions based on the inspections and conduct final review of all the completed jobs to assure all products satisfy and meet customer expectations.

Conduct Quality Check (QC) of each job performed.

4) Responsible for all process auditing, audit review documentation and participate in all Quality Management systems programs including investigations, Deviation Reporting Programs, Compliant and Recall.

Requirements

  • A Bachelors’ degree in Science or an equivalent work experience of five years in quality control work. Other combinations of experience and education which meet the minimum requirements may be substituted.
  • Good working knowledge of the methods of housekeeping operations and knowledge of safe working practices are essential.
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail. Possess the ability to meet critical deadlines.
  • Must have a good understanding of GMP, ISO requirements and the integration of the regulations into working systems. Ability to write / revise SOPs.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English. Proficiency in the use of computers with knowledge in MS Word, Excel and Access.
