We are looking for anexperienced Quality Engineer : Primary Objectives / Responsibilities Responsibility for co-ordination and completion of Project Quality Assessments, as Identified by the Quality Lead and defined in the EPCM Contract Assurance Schedule.
The Quality Engineer, reports to the Quality Lead, and is responsible for completion of their assigned, day to day activities.
Specific Accountabilities :
Support Goal Zero and participate in HSE activities as defined in the EPCM CONTRACT HSE Plan.
Coordinate and undertake project assessments in accordance with the risk-based assurance methodology and EPCM Contract processes and procedures.
Support and assist the Quality Team with coverage in the following areas :
Control of Non-conformances and preventive and corrective actions.
Monitor and update Action Request Register in AIM.
Review of vendor Quality documentation.
Third Party Inspection coordination.
Update of Quality documents in the IOP and the shared drive.
Develops relationships to work closely with the Project Team, supporting project and discipline management processes.
Qualifications, Accreditation, Training and Experience Required :
Diploma or Degree in Engineering
Qualified Assessor / Auditor
Preferred Experience : Root Cause Analysis.
Quality Assurance experience within a Multi Discipline design office, project environment.
Welding Inspection and or Coating Inspection Experience
5 years’ experience in Oil and Gas Industry.
2 years’ experience in Brown Field Oil and Gas related project delivery.
Fluent English language skills.
Strong computer literacy, MS Office suite of programs competence and writing skills.
Must be a self-starter, highly motivated individual capable of working with limited supervision.
Able to work under pressure within tight schedule timelines without compromising Quality.
Able to proactively identify and address Quality risks and issues.
Strong interpersonal and team skills.
