About your Job :
The Vice President Support Services is responsible for providing strategic, commercial, operational leadership within the support function of the Hub and Network Operations.
The role covered the following areas of responsibilities Systems Automation and Programmes, Administration and Business Support, Customer Delivery, Ground Services (GS) Integrated Operations Centre, Baggage Services Operations and Ground Services Workforce Planning.
In this role, you will establish the implementation of goals and standards to ensure consistency and adherence to operational integrity, service level, costs and safety set by the company.
You will develop an overall strategy and roll-out new initiatives to continuously support Ground Services Division. You will explore areas of improvements within the automation, processes, workforce planning and the level of interaction with key stakeholders within and outside of the Division.
You will take leadership with a suite of improvements to ensure Ground Services is rate Best Ground Services department as measured by Skytrax Airline awards.
The key accountabilities of the role include :
service projects within the Hub and Network Operations. You will continuously look at avenues for process improvements, tuning and more automation in order to optimize resources whilst ensuring consistent, reliable and efficient services delivery to customers.
You will anticipate emerging business changes and needs to drive initiatives to achieve operational excellence, cost efficiency and process efficiency.
You will take the lead in working closely with the external bodies to ensure that QR Airports are compliant with their requirements and identify key strategic opportunities at Airports on Co-
branding, Location, Transfer Centres, Lounges and Baggage services.
About you :
You hold a Bachelor’s degree from a reputed University / Colleges with 10 years of job related experience in airline and airport operations in a senior management level.
You have comprehensive knowledge of airport operations methods, practices and procedures including passenger and baggage handling.
You have strong exposure in the following areas : Systems and Automation, Workforce Planning, Customer Delivery, Baggage Services and IOC.
You have managed technology enhancement and transformation programme within the different areas in Ground operations.
You have strong understanding of different safety and security regulations such as ICAO, IOSA and all relevant aviation operating bodies / authorities.
In addition, you are well versed in handling IATA SGHA GH contracts and its operating budgets.
You have strong business acumen and able to challenge others to manage change creatively, implement new approaches and encourage continuous improvement within the Airport Operations.
You have exceptional people values; very adept at bringing out strengths in others. You inspire and motivate teams and individuals to meet the organisation's vision and goals.
