MWH, now a part of Stantec is currently seeking a Lead Environmental Specialist for a site operation managing the New District of Doha Pumping Station and Outfall Project in Qatar.
The ideal candidate will be a strong well disciplined, task driven highly technical and experienced lead environmental specialist who has specialized primarily in the environmental engineering field in the preparation of environmental impact assessments (EIAs) and Planning Applications (PAs) for large similar type infrastructure projects with marine outfalls.
Ideally will have extensive experience as the primary author for the preparation of environmental scoping reports, EIAs and Environmental Permit Applications and Planning Application Permits.
Will have extensive experience as the environmental technical lead and the environmental project manager responsible for large environmental programmes / projects.
These programmes / projects shall include the scoping, planning, design, procurement, implementation, supervision and final delivery for all environmental survey / investigation specialities / services necessary to complete EIAs.
Will be responsible for the final signoff of all of the associated environmental deliverables to support the completion and formal submission of EIAs in support of the Planning Application process.
Latterly this candidate will also have been providing high level hands on detailed technical review and auditing and signoff of all aspects of environmental assessment and environmental engineering design works for projects involving large pumping stations, tunnels and infrastructure siting in the marine environment including under the seabed.
