Jaidah Group is looking for Fitness Instructors. Reporting to the Gym Manager and main responsibility is to conduct varied group classes, personal training, group personal training and monitoring the gym floor, correcting clients and assisting where needs be.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To deliver functional group fitness classes
  • Conduct client risk assessments and suitably adjust classes to meet requirements
  • Complete all membership paperwork and daily reports in an accurate and timely manner
  • Educate members on safe practice
  • Instruct and adapt classes to the ability level of the clients participating
  • Develop and implementing a specialized exercise regimen for a client
  • Continually consult clients to adapt, analyse and improve workout plans
  • Greet new class attendees and fully induct them into the system
  • Manage the booking system to schedule private sessions and group classes
  • Instruct group exercise classes according to schedule and according to company standards
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting and interacting with all members and orienting new participants
  • Effectively time manage their schedule in and outside of PT / Classes
  • Store all equipment neatly and appropriately manage the gym floor
  • Document equipment problems in club maintenance log and reports problem to Service Manager
  • Attend instructor training and staff meetings
  • Participate in company events
  • Promote sales and help the business grow
  • Perform floor shift duties including supervision of clients and assisting with queries
  • Keep an up to date awareness of current health and fitness trends / research
  • Participate in corporate events, seminars and health screenings
  • In view of the evolving needs and opportunities within the gym, this position may be required to perform other duties as assigned.
  • Work morning, evening, and weekend shifts as necessary
  • QUALIFICATIONS

  • REPS Level 2 Fitness Instructing & REPS Level 3 Personal Training Qualifications
  • EXPERIENCE

  • 3 5 years experience in previous Personal Training / Group Trainer role
  • Worked in the region previously
  • KNOWLEDGE

  • Excellent and up to date training knowledge
  • Anatomy, Physiology & Nutrition knowledge
  • A passion for fitness & health
  • Computer literate
  • SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Personal training
  • Varied group classes (Yoga / HIIT / Body Pump / TRX etc)
  • Ability to design and conduct group classes and personal training
  • Ability to work effectively with Managers and colleagues
  • Flexibility, resourcefulness, and good judgment
  • Ability to motivate others
  • Strong sales ability and lead conversion
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to conduct workshops and seminars around health & well-being
