A field salesman builds business by identifying andselling prospects and maintaining relationships with clients. KeyResponsibilities : - Identifies business opportunities byidentifying prospects and evaluating their position in theindustry;
researching and analyzing sales options - Visits clientsand potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products andservices.
Maintains relationships with clients by providingsupport, information, and guidance; researches and recommends newopportunities and profit and service improvements.
Negotiatescontracts with prospective clients, as per company set rules andprocedures. - Prepares weekly and monthly reports, and follows upon payments - Submits quotations, and follows-up the feedback.
Attends tenders related to his customers. - Responds to customersinquiries and emails in time efficient manner. - Receives andprocesses customers’ orders in accordance with department internalprocedures and conformity with the set agreements.
Maintainsprofessional and technical knowledge by reviewing professionalpublications; establishing personal networks; bench-markingstate-of-the-art practices;
participating in professionalsocieties. - Helps determine pricing schedules for quotes,promotions, and negotiations.
