  • Manage a portfolio of complexinitiatives that span one or multiple lines of business
  • Provide on-site leadership for project team by buildingand motivating team members to meet project goals,
  • adhering to their responsibilities and projectmilestones

  • Full project life cycleownership : successful project delivery will include fullimplementation from initiation to deployment for one major orseveral minor initiatives simultaneously
  • Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensurethe overall program is aligned to and directly supports theachievement of strategic objectives
  • Report onproject success criteria results, metrics, test and deploymentmanagement activities
  • Work creatively andanalytically in a problem-solving environment demonstratingteamwork, innovation and excellence
  • Participate in establishing practices, templates,policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature thesecapabilities for the organization
  • Prepareestimates and detailed project plan for all phases of theproject
  • Procure adequate resources to achieveproject objectives in planned timeframes
  • Manage the day-to-day project activities and resourcesand chairs the project management team meetings
  • Monitor staff performance and complete performancereviews
  • Provide status reporting regardingproject milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues,communicating across leadership
  • Understandinterdependencies between technology, operations and businessneeds
  • Demonstrate a functional acumen tosupport how solutions will address client goals while maintainingalignment with industry best practices
  • Manageproject scope and changes
  • Participate and / ordrive feasibility studies, vendor selections and proposals forevaluation by appropriate key stakeholders
  • Actas an internal quality control check for the project
  • Manage ongoing quality control and participate in qualityissue resolution
  • Assist in dispute,negotiation, arbitration or litigation, as needed
  • Support formal / informal schedules to manage theengagement contract
  • Define the Statement ofWork and Specifications for the requested goods andservices
  • Develop and manage all aspects ofproject and program engagement from planning, external vendorrelationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks andissues
  • Set and continually manage project andprogram expectations while delegating and managing deliverable withteam members and stakeholders
  • Delegate tasksand responsibilities to appropriate personnel
  • Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues,conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals,requirements documentation and presentations to various audiences,including project team, sponsors, CIO and keystakeholders
  • Determine the frequency andcontent of status reports from the project and program team,analyze results and troubleshoot problem areas
  • Define success criteria and disseminate them to involvedparties throughout project and program life cycle
  • Identify and develop trusted adviser relationship withproject and program stakeholders, sponsors and universitystakeholders
  • Coach, mentor, motivate andsupervise project and program team
  • Deliverappropriate and effective executive level communication
  • Ensure that projects and programs are proceedingaccording to scope, schedule, budget and qualitystandards
  • Manage project and program issuesand risks to mitigate impact to baseline
  • Continue professional development in order to keepabreast of emerging technologies, methods and bestpractices
  • Extensive understanding of projectand program management principles, methods andtechniques
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Proven success in providing on site leadership forproject team by building and motivating team members to meetproject goals, adhering to their responsibilities and projectmilestones
  • Performance reviews and staffdevelopment
  • Monitor the performance ofstaff
  • Establish practices, templates,policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature thesecapabilities for the organization
