Duties and responsibilitiesinclude :
Support gap analysisactivities by comparing, documenting, and reporting shortfalls inproposed cyber capabilities.
Assesshow well a capability meets the requirement, document any gaps thatmay exist, and ensure that the capability aligns with Department ofDefense (DoD) and cyber policy and meets the intent of thedevelopment objective or capability.
Will provide writtendocumentation to address areas of concern for shortfalls andrecommend courses of action (COAs) to fulfill Department of DefenseInformation Network (DODIN) Operations and Defensive CyberOperations-Internal Defensive Measures (DCO-IDM) gaps andcapability requirements.
Developarchitecture and business models / diagrams, such as system andoperational views, process flow diagrams and system architecture,to aide in identifying capability gaps and documenting the as-isand to-be capabilities.
Translate userrequirements and technology trends into recommendations thatprovide senior leadership with a flexible, cost-effective andtechnical framework that will adapt to the constantly changingcyber threat.
Collaborate with internal andexternal organizations to define capability requirements andrecommend solutions. Will prepare and deliver operationalcapability requirements specification and provide regular updatesto JFHQ-DODIN leadership.
Providerecommendations to developers and users on the technical aspects ofDODIN Operations and DCO-IDM capability requirements.
Will identify and recommend cyberspace operations best practices,streamline processes, and methods to integrate emerging cybertechnologies.
Assist the customer in thepreparation of JFHQ-DODIN’s Unfunded Requirements List,Integrated Priorities List, and Program of Objective Memorandum(POM) inputs related to capabilityrequirements.
