About Your Job :
You will be responsible of leading the team of specialist in providing support for Technical System including Tier 0 / 1 Systems like TRAX, AMPPS and any other system used by technical.
Ensure that support requirements are continually reviewed and that the team can provide the required services. You will ensure that Qatar Airways Technical is fully supported by IT Systems.
Develop integrated test plans, test scenarios as well as user acceptance and regression test packs for all systems, based on the criticality of each system.

Define and continuously develop the service level agreements between Technical systems Support and System Used to ensure that Technical is fully supported in the use of their IT systems
Contribute to the development and implementation of IT Business Systems strategy by analysing and presenting data on the usage and performance of Technical System
Setup and maintain a technical system support team that will provide support for Technical System end users and maintenance activities for the systems
Responsible for ensuring the provision of functional support for all system used Technical Department. This includes business critical systems ( TRAX,AMPPS, and QAMS), system hosted by OEMS and Tier 2 system
Maintain close liaison with relevant IT Teams so ensure routine maintenance, timely resolution of bugs, high availability of all Technical Systems and efficient coordination with System Suppliers.
Design and implement processes for conducting data analysis and system usage monitoring that verify that identified data controls are in place.
Implement processed for handling any data inconsistencies that are identified.
Develop and implement a Technical MIS Repository for weekly, monthly, KPI reporting

Qualifications, Experience and Skills :
Relevant College or University qualification to min Bachelor's level
Additionally, project management certification
Previous Experience : Essential
Minimum 8 years relevant experience.
Extensive experience in the support of Critical Business Systems, including Tier 0 / 1 systems in a complex and operational critical environment
Job Specific Skills : Essential
Highly developed planning, analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent understanding of the Aircraft Maintenance domain, with deep expertise in the usage, development, implementation and support of Systems in the MRO Domain like TRAX, AMPPS & QAMS
Understanding of key stakeholder functions.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills in a multicultural setting
Managerial skills Ability to delegate work, set clear directions and manage work.
