Manager Quality Technical is responsible for establishing, implementing and maintaining an independent Quality Management System on behalf of the Accountable Manager ensuringpliance with the regulatory requirements andpany policy by :
Ensuring that the Quality Assurance elements of the Quality Management System within the Technical Division are properly established, implemented and maintained.
Verifying and monitoring the areas of Technical Part M and Part 145 frompliance perspective.
Maintaining a constant review of the Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE), the Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME), and Technical Procedures Manual (TPM).
Ensuring the Quality Management System works in sync withpany Safety Management System.
Maintain and Implementpany’s Quality Manual.
Management and training of auditors.
Defining, Managing and conducting an approved audit schedule and follow up actions with all stakeholders.
Maintaining oversight of the standard of Technical Manuals and Technical Library control.
Maintaining close liaison with the QCAA.
Prepare reports periodically on Technical quality activity and submit the same to the Senior Manager Quality & Safety for onward submission to the Accountable Manager.
Supporting the Senior Manager Quality in regards to his duties to ensure all processes and department tasks are fulfilled.
Qualification & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical or Electronics Engineering from a recognised university.
Holding or have held ICAO / EASA / QCAA Engineer’s Licence (Preferred).
Trained to Quality Management System for Airlines.
Ten (10) years experience in Technicalpliance Monitoring function in large Airline.
Experience as approvedpliance Monitoring Manager preferably in QCAR / EASA regulatory framework.
Experience as an Investigator.
Aviation IT Systems familiarity (CAMP, TRAX etc.)
Excellent knowledge of aircraft systems, power plants and structure.
Analytical approach to evaluating solutions and risk assessment.
