Hygiene Supervisor will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the facility food safety, quality assurance and other related programs.
Developing food safety and quality assurance policies, procedures, and monitoring documentation to assure that each F&B outlet including concessionaries and joint ventures are meeting food safety and quality requirements established by the organisations and local regulators.
Supervising, coaching and mentoring the QA staff and for providing direction through ongoing performance feedback. Working closely with Production, Purchasing, service team to ensure food safety compliance.
Responsible for the implementation, and maintenance of the FSMS Food safety management system including HACCP plan, writing procedures and auditing documentation for compliance.
Provide guidance to managers, supervisors, and employees to maintain compliance with FSMS HACCP, Food Safety and Quality Systems program, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Ensures all employee annual and ongoing food safety training is conducted to help create a culture of food safety.
Ensuring that food handlers maintain safe personal hygiene.
Completes all verifications / validations as defined in FSMS program. Reviews and verifies production documents as outlined in HACCP, and FSMS programs.
Conducts and documents and follow routine food safety internal audits.
Ensure uninterrupted supply of clean and sanitized equipment for operational use.
Monitors trends in consumer complaints database and reports data to management on a timely basis. Investigates complaints related to food safety and quality.
Provides resources and leadership for continuous improvement of Food Safety and Quality systems. Provides direction on appropriate corrective actions and ensures corrective actions are appropriately documented and verified.
Responsible for proper documentation & record of cleaning material stocks and monthly inventory.
Coordination with maintenance, production and operations on daily activities.
Ensure effective pest control is carried out in coordination with the out sourced pest control contract staff.
Ensuring that a business’s food safety program is up-to-date and accurately maintained.
Stay Up-To-Date of all relevant food safety legislation and standards that are applicable to the food business.
Provide timely communication on all critical issues
Take responsibility for own ongoing personal development and growth of expertise.
Keep abreast with any market trends and developments
Assist in the response to any emergency or a major operational disruption affecting Qatar Airways or its subsidiaries, including support of the Qatar Airways Special Assistance Program.
