Role Objective Responsible to support the CardBusiness Systems function within IT with the objective of ensuringthat all cards system related new projects, new implementations,enhancements, day-to-day issues are carried out with maximumefficiency, security and control in accordance with the agreedservice standards and safeguard the financial interests of CardsBusiness.
Detailed Roles and Responsibilities STRATEGIC :
Oversees the day-to-day progress of credit card projects / BAUissues and escalates to Manager Cards & ATM any criticalissues that may arise
Ensures project completion as per scheduleand budget
Negotiates with IT vendors and suppliers and handlescritical issues in consultation with the Manager Cards & ATM
Undertake and complete other important ad-hoc assignments.
Liaise with payment Schemes for Card Issuing and POS Acquiringprojects
To ensure proper documentation are completed andsubmitted on time for Tender processing, as and when required.
To ensure project plans are updated and submitted to the InternalProject Management Office
To ensure internal project meetingsare held with required business and IT stake holders till projectclosure.
To ensure compliance requests from Payment Schemes(Visa and Mastercard) are applied within their specifiedtimelines.
To plan, schedule and execute the User Acceptancetestings.
To ensure project governance is followed throughoutthe Project Life Cycle.
To liaise with Visa and Master card forProject Implementations.
To liaise with Credit Card System, ATMswitch, Other vendors for new projects and other technical issues. OPERATIONAL
Technical support for Credit card related systemsused in the bank.
Liaise with system vendors and paymentassociation to resolve day-to-day system problems and issuesreported by Card Centre Users.
Responsible to support theProject Management function to ensure smooth implementation of newsystems initiatives such as EMV, Credit & Debit Cards, NewProduct Launch etc.
systems enhancements & day-to-day systemissues.
VAP Production Support & MIP Support-Co ordinationswith VISA & MC enquiries.
Co-ordinate with internal andexternal parties to ensure that payment system compliance upgradesare tested and implemented within deadlines.
Track and monitorsystem / operational issues with IT Department, External systemvendors and Payment Associations until resolution.
Providesystem support for POS Infrastructure ( NAC, TMS and MOXA server)and liaise with vendor for POS application updates.
Providesystem support for Loyalty systems and liaise with vendor for POSand system enhancements.
Work on system change request as perrequest from Business user department.
Provide system supportfor AMEX card acquiring. Co-ordinate with vendor for new releasesand updates from AMEX
Responsible to prepare system acceptancetest scripts with the users and conduct a first level UAT to ensurethat systems have been delivered according to user requirements.
Monitoring of credit card systems and ensure services are up andrunning.
Certification with payment association as and whenrequired for projects.
Prepare the project plans, updates toLine Manager for weekly meetings.
Define new card products inCard system as fee structure from Retail Banking.
Provide dailystatistics to Management on our Cards and Acquiring base.
Attendto POS Acquiring unit merchant visits in case of any technicalissues. PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
Supervise direct reportees in theirday-to-day tasks and guide them in managing their performance byproviding appropriate feedback and counseling.
Provide feedback andescalations to the Manager in case of any exceptions or criticalprojects. COMPETENCIES, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE EducationalQualifications :
Bachelors in Technology ( Electronics Engg)
Masters in Business Administration Experience : 10+ Years ofexperience out of which 6+ years in Cards Domain and 4 years in ITService Operations. Behavioral Competencies :
