DohaJob PurposeYour role is to plan and organise all network-wide equipment inventory deliveries / forecasts into and from stores of all QR inventory items (including Bond items).
You will be responsible for ensuring that all QR Catering Stations worldwide have the right equipment, dry stores and beverages available at the right time whilst controlling stock flow and cost.
Role and ResponsibilitiesYou will manage the global equipment inventory in Qatar Aircraft Catering Company (QACC) and in all station locations worldwide, ensuring that all have the right equipment at the right time without being overstocked.
You will implement logistics strategy to ensure that equipment is not carried around the world unnecessarily; creating an effective, cost efficient solution that assists with fuel conservation.
You will work with development teams and galley planners to ensure inventory planning is reflecting real inventory performance in order to optimize minimal deviation between forecast and actual usage.
You will lead all station start-ups and close downs in relation to ensure equipment is available in a timely manner for start-ups and is removed quickly for close downs.
You are the in charge in monitoring the stock to ensure that there are no out of stock situations at any stations. We need your experience and knowledge in proposing and highlighting opportunities to reduce purchase price, or shipping costs, better supply chain processes to manage total cost of ownership.
You will also provide inventory risk including risk evaluation, gap analysis, risk mitigation proposals including the development and communication of inventory risk reports and substitution reports.
