Position Invoicing Manager Section Billing Marine Company Nakilat Keppel Offshore Marine Ltd Location Ras Laffan Qatar Job Summary and Purpose Accountable for the monitoring and delivery of the set Marine Billing strategy as aligned to the Business Plan and Revenue forecast Manages the team of billing experts to perform the sales billing and bill settling processes in a timely and effective manner in keeping with the Company s business objectives Accountabilities Key Accountabilities 1 Monitors and projects monthly ship repair revenue and margins 2 Reviews and analyses shiprepair monthly revenue provides reports 3 Analyses past data and provides trends averages performance etc 4 Liaises with all parties such as Operations Finance Legal and Insurance on vessel s claims if any 5 Ensures appointment of necessary Billing Executives for projects 6 Negotiates Settles of final invoice with Clients 7 Enhances and builds up the customer relationships 8 Assists Finance Department in collecting of payment from customers 9 Performs other duties as required Key Result Areas Comprehensive collection of all documents and other related data for preparation of draft invoice to ensure all billable work is captures and in line with estimation Qualifications Experience and Skills A Degree or Diploma in Naval Architecture Marine Engineering Mechanical Engineering Certificate of Competency Marine Engineer Officer Class 1 Motor Ship or its equivalent Experience At least 8 years of relevant working experience 3 under managerial category Job Specific Competencies i Generic 1 Commitment to NKOM Core Values 2 Leadership Skills 3 Verbal and Written Communication Skills 4 Computer Literacy Microsoft Office Excel PowerPoint 5 Performance Appraisal Skills 6 Coaching and Mentoring Skills 7 Project Management Skills 8 Knowledge of Shipyard Operations 9 Analytical Thinking and ProblemSolving Skills 10 Budgeting Business Planning Skills 11 Presentation Skills 12 Negotiation Skills 13 Stress Management Skills 14 Strategic business planning 15 Finance skills ii Functional 1 Technical knowledge of the trades 2 Understanding of contract terms and conditions 3 Knowledge of Owner s requirements 4 Knowledge of the market rates for repair jobs 5 Customer care techniques 6 Project job costing knowledge 7 Effective interpersonal skills 8 EQ skills
