Accurately measuring meal ingredients for theChef de Partie

  • Preparing meal ingredients, which includesseasoning of different meats as well as washing, peeling, andchopping vegetables and fruits
  • Preparing basic salads andsauces as directed by the Chef de Partie
  • Receivingdeliveries and verifying that all ordered items have been deliveredand are of good quality
  • Taking inventory of supplies andnotifying the supervisor of low or depleted supplies
  • Discarding all expired and spoiled food items stored in a stockrooms, refrigerators and freezers
  • Performing basiccleaning duties and ensuring that work situations are properlysanitized
  • Plating and presenting meal items as per theChef's instructions.Key skills :
  • Must haveknowledge in International Cuisines
  • Sound knowledge offood health and safety regulations
  • Ability to work underpressure
