Work with the stations, both on a regional as well as a local level, also to work with external partners to identify new business opportunities and to develop MICE revenues.
AccountabilityTo actively support the TMC Channel Manager in achieving revenue targets for MICE by managing incoming MICE requests and scouring new business, while ensuring maximization of commercial potential through product enhancements.
The incumbent will work closely with the TMC Channel Manager to manage MICE operations to ensure the implementation of MICE agreements, managing leads as well as making sure revenue reporting is seamless.
Supporting the TMC Channel manager to identify and procure MICE leads through external sources, work with the MICE divisions of TMCs and destinations boards (locally and globally) to implement strategies for MICE to be aligned company commercial goals for the year.
Work closely with the Corporate Sales team to identify MICE opportunities through corporate customers and agreements.About YouShortlisted candidates must have : Relevant College or University qualification to min Bachelor's level.
Minimum 5 years relevant experience in the travel industry.Experience in selling airline products, with a strong focus on corporate sales.
Proven ability to work and negotiate in a multicultural environment and strong communication / interpersonal skills.Proven commercial skills and business acumen (ability to spot and interpret market trends).
