About your Job :
The Manager Training and Delivery is responsible for the creation, implementation and management of ground operating procedures, performance, quality and automation to enhance the operational activity and service delivery within Ground Hub Operations.
The role will ensure compliance with local and international regulatory requirements through training and implementation procedures & operating policies.
In addition, this role will assist in providing the framework for ground operations to achieve a safe and efficient operation to achieve the strategic business objectives.
The role will also manage all on-going, long-term improvement of employee’s skills, enabling them to fulfill their potential within the company.
The role will assess the skills and knowledge of employees within the organization and create trainings required for ground operations staff.
Specific responsibilities include :
Manages and creates development plans for training employees of the Qatar Airways Hub Operations, HIA (Hamad International Airport) Lounges and Al Maha Services.
Creates and manages training programs and coaching sessions for employees as per the needs of the employee / company.
Manages, conducts and supervises all aspects of audits competently, including but not limited to core functions of Hub Operations, HIA Lounges and Al Maha Services to ensure compliance with the 5-
star standards as set by Qatar Airways.
Manages the overall responsibility of reviewing and monitoring a centralized training database for development.
Manages the process and production of training materials to ensure that all training section requirements are met in a timely fashion and to the highest professional standard.
Manages effective usage of training equipment and classrooms to render effective training. Manages all inventory levels to minimize costs and ensures that these remain within the budget.
Initiates various new initiatives and projects related to Ground Operations, HIA Lounges and Al Maha Services.
Oversees and supervises employees. Directs daily activities, recruits, trains, develops and disciplines to ensure a high standard of service delivery.
