The CleaningTechnician (CT) is responsible for performing custodial services as specifiedin the Performance Work Statement for Recreational Service areas such as theLodging facilities, Fitness Centers, Lounges, Community Activity Centers, LearningResource Center, Media Center and Theaters.
The CT reports to the Lead CleaningTechnician and functions as a Facility Manager.
MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES :
1.Responsible for the execution of custodial servicesas specified in the Performance Work Statement.
2.Responsible for communicating and upholding companystandards, leading by example, working as a team and providing well maintained equipmentand facilities.
3.Shall perform work in a manner that presents aclean, neat and professional appearance while maintaining satisfactory facilityand equipment conditions.
4.Responsible for monitoring other country nationalsin accordance with AFCENTI 32-1002 and obtain escort badge.
5.Performs custodial work including, but not limitedto, restroom cleaning and supply replenishment, floors, baseboards, corners andwall / floor edges, light fixtures, interior glass / mirrors, sink and counter,laundry rooms, tables / desks, water potted plants, dusting, spot cleaning,outdoor patio cleaning, collect / remove trash, clean refrigerators / microwaves,sort linen, resupply clean linen, and restock linen closet as specified in thePWS.
6.Shall function as a Facility Manager to assignedlocation(s) as specified in the PWS.
7.Shall provide on-call and over and above cleaningservices as needed.
8.Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean,sanitary, healthy, presentable, professional atmosphere, free of dust, clutterand trash in all working facilities and areas.
9.Responsible for following a comprehensive,flexible, and properly documented training program.
10.Responsiblefor proper utilization and safeguarding of all government and contractorprovided property (e.g., to include government facilities, equipment andtools).
11.Responsiblefor precise execution of company time reporting procedures and accuratecompletion of timesheet.
12.Shallperform as supplemental personnel as needed for all Installation Servicefunctional areas.
13.Performsother duties as assigned.
MATERIAL & EQUIPMENTDIRECTLY USED :
Standard cleaning supplies and equipment. Standardoffice equipment (Computer, phone, scanner), and automated management systems.
Use of portable radios or cell phones to maintain contact and accountability ofwork activities.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT :
Work will be inside and outside. Exposure to cold,dust, noise, and chemicals may occur. Overtime and shift work may be requireddepending on contractual needs.
Employeemust comply with all Federal, State and Local regulations and published Companywork rules as well as written instructions.
Task specific work environment training will be provided as required.Must be prepared to function in a wartime environment to support U.
S. interests.100% Overseas Assignment.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES :
Physical requirements may include lifting up to 35lbs,team lifting 50lbs, climbing, extended sitting, and standing, stooping,stretching or bending.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
Education / Certifications : One year related experience may be substituted forone year of education, if degree is required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must havea valid U. S. Passport and U. S. Driver’s License.
Must have capability of obtaining an Air Forceflight line driver’s license and capable of driving a manual transmission.
Musthave and maintain a valid U. S. SECRET or Interim Secret Security Clearanceprior to deployment.
Mustbe able to read, write, speak and understand English fluently.
Mustbe able to pass employment and deployment qualification requirements thatinclude psychological, medical, dental, drug testing, background checks, etc.
Candidates must successfully complete both onlineand hands on CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear)defensetraining.
Training includes the successful fit testing of DoD providedprotective gear.
A minimum of one year of general cleaningexperience.
Shall be familiar with applicable fire prevention,ground safety, smoking, and security standards.
Experience as a Forklift driver and HAZMAT trainingpreferred.
Good communication, teamwork and customer service skills.
Must be familiar with Microsoft programs such asExcel, Word, Power Point and Outlook.
Ableand willing to work periods of long hours to meet mission requirements
Military experience in a contingency environmentand knowledge and experience working with government contracts preferred.
