Duties and Responsibilities : Run and supervise any kitchen section to the required standards set by management.Ensure all preparation of the designated section is complete and ready for each serviceResponsible for the quality control of stock and prepared foodsExecute cooking to the expected high standard quickly and efficientlyEnsure the cleanliness and organization of the designated section, including fridges, is monitored and maintained to the required standardSupport head chef and sous in delivering the required standard of food, and kitchen operationEffectively delegate jobs to junior chefs and apprenticesSupport junior chefs and apprentices in their developmentActively seek to improve skills and achieve personal developmentComply with all health and safety regulations.

To report any maintenance issues to the Head Chef immediatelyRequirements and Qualifications : Preferred candidates should have either dietary foods knowledge, international cuisine, Asian or Japanese cuisine.
The candidate should have at least 2 years’ experience in the same roleShould have HACCP certification or food safety level 2 certificationShould have any culinary certification.
