More About the Role :
This position supporting USFOR-A is responsible for processing personnel investigations for special security clearance actions to include : Formulating and ensuring compliance with automated information systems security procedures.
Suggesting, implementing and monitoring compliance with the ISAF / USFOR-A special security policies and procedures. Conducting and coordinating the training for special security representatives.
Perform liaison with Government, NATO and industrial security officials. Support collateral and higher access and badging procedures for the ISAF / USFORA HQs.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications :
Must have an active TS / SCI clearance
Associates degree or four years of experience applying security standards that apply to SCI Facilities (SCIFs) as outlined in Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705, Intelligence Community Standard (ICS) 705-
1, IC Tech Spec-for ICD / ICS 705, and DoD Manual 5105.21 Volume 1-3
Minimum of four years of experience in compartmented programs utilizing Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) and Joint Clearance and Access Verification System (JCAVS)
Developed SCIF Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Emergency Action Plans (EAPs)
Experience reading and interpreting blueprints / drawings to ensure facilities meet security requirements
Experience evaluating and processing approvals / accreditations for Tactical SCIFs (T-SCIF), Secure Working Areas (SWA), and Temporary Secure Working Areas (TSWA) in a non-
traditional environment to perform critical contingency tasks
Thorough familiarity with all security clearance processes
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have :
Education Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree
Deployment experience in Iraq or Afghanistan preferred
Completed Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705 Physical Security course (or equivalent)
Completed Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) SSO course (or equivalent)
