  • Produces information bytranscribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying,and transmitting text, data, and graphics.
  • Organizes work by reading and routing correspondence; collectinginformation; initiating telecommunications.
  • Maintains department schedule by maintaining calendars fordepartment personnel; arranging meetings, conferences,teleconferences, and travel.
  • Completesrequests by greeting guests / clients, in person or on the telephone;answering or referring inquiries.
  • Maintainsconfidence and protects operations by keeping informationconfidential.
  • Prepares reports by collectinginformation.
  • Maintains office suppliesinventory by checking stock to determine inventory level;anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders forsupplies;
  • verifying receipt of supplies.

  • Keeps equipment operational by following manufacturer instructionsand established procedures.
  • Securesinformation by completing database backups.
  • Provides historical reference by utilizing filing and retrievalsystems.
  • Performs all other secretarial jobduties as required.
