Main Responsibility Area
Closely works with onsite Project Team to prepare Cloud pre-requisites during VNF & CNF onboarding
Troubleshoot VNF / CNF onboarding issues
Support integration & testing of new VNF & CNFs including re-deployments / scale out during various testing cycles.
Troubleshooting of any performance issues
Go-live support & post live monitoring as per contract
Proactively identifies and solves demanding problems and communicates them to key stakeholders
Support Installation, Integration, Acceptance testing, Operations & Maintenance, and any ongoing modification (including upgrades) & configuration changes to the Nokia’s CBIS (Cloudband Infrastructure Software), CBAM (Cloudband Application Manager), NCS (Nokia Container Services) and Data Centre Hardware (Nokia Airframe Data Centre Solution).
Perform diagnostic troubleshooting and provide technical support assistance
Integration with backend technical support engineering teams and other technical teams (for e.g. Nokia VNF Engineers, Partners’ VNF owners
Provides support to Nokia Customers as a seasoned Customer-facing Engineer
Participates as an expert in own technology area
Is active in Networking and Knowledge sharing
Develop service documentation and procedures
Perform first installs of new software, upgrades, and hardware expansions
Perform system integration and regression tests
Should be passionate about troubleshooting issues, thinking out of the box when it comes to problem solving
Contribute to the creation of common artifacts and tools for usage by the Solution Engineering community and lead knowledge transfer and ramp up
Lead your own competence development and contribute to the Nokia Knowledge Hubs aka. Communities of Practice
Interaction with Customer and Partners
On-call / Emergency Support for Customers when necessary
Experience in Containers, Kubernetes and Microservices concepts
Engineer graduated in Telecommunications, IT or Electronic Engineering.
Proven experience in installation, commissioning, and integration of CBIS, CBAM and NCS
Proven experience in installation, commissioning, and integration of Data Centre Solutions (Hardware), preferably Nokia Airframe Data Centre Solutions.
Sound knowledge of Telecommunications Networks
Candidate with experience and / or certification in RHOSP will be preferred
Good working knowledge of UNIX or Linux Operating Systems.
Good working knowledge of TCP / IP
Good knowledge of VoIP protocols (SIP / RTP / MGCP)
Experience in Scripting Languages (Python, Perl, Bash, etc.)
Previous Operations and Maintenance experience for a customer
Strong and demonstrated troubleshooting skills and abilities to debug and reproduce hardware, software, and networking problems including network performance and interoperability issues
Experience of integration with OSS is highly desirable
Knowledge of GSM and / or LTE networks highly desirable
Independent work ethics
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
The ideal candidate will have up-to five years of experience in the above
Possess a Certificate / Diploma / Degree in Information Technology / Computer Engineering.
