Pool and Beach
Follow all guidelines of the Recreation Department operational Sop’s and task lists as provided
Organize, clean and maintain the entire Recreation Area and back offices,
Carry out daily cleaning of the facility, plus weekly and monthly tasks as assigned by the Recreation Supervisor or Ass. Recreation Manager.
Ensure that equipment is properly cleaned, stored and is secure when not in use.
Take towels to and from the laundry ensuring an adequate operational stock is maintained at all times.
Carry out other duties as required by management from time to time, such as but not limited to lateral service in other parts of the Hotel and overnight cleaning
Ensure excellent customer service and standards at all times as well as behaving in a professional manner when on and off duty
Maintain complete knowledge and comply with all the companies and department, policies and procedures
Set up workstation(s) with necessary supplies along with maintaining cleanliness throughout the shift.
Focus attention on guests needs while remaining calm and courteous, and accommodate to all guest requests expediently and courteously
Full understanding of the Recreation’s activities and events
Showing guest to their seats
Re-stocking the refreshment
Collecting litter and tidying up after a show
Assists in organizing, scheduling and overseeing guest request and handle bowling tournaments if needed
Participates in the skilled work of stripping and re-lacquering bowling lanes.
Keep all equipment clean and well maintained for the in-house activities.
Keep the area always clean, tidy and safe from hazards.
Organize games tournaments, activities, events for teens.
Entertain and engage with the members and guests.
Comply with all health and safety regulations and standards for all users around the water
Check water quality and clarity throughout shift, to ensure consistency and report any defects to appropriate department and resort supervisors
Report all repair & maintenance requirements’ of water facilities and services
Legibly document relevant information in logbook
Maintain hotel’s standards, policies and procedures
Clearly communicate with proper grammar in English to the guests’ understanding both written and spoken
Set up workstation(s) with necessary supplies along with maintaining cleanliness throughout the shift
Handle guest complaints by following the instant pacification procedures and ensuring guest satisfaction
Ensure that equipment is properly cleaned, stored and is secure when not in use
Assist the Towel Attendants as necessary
Carry out other duties as required by management from time to time, such as but not limited to lateral service in other parts of the Sports Club or Hotel and overnight cleaning
Provide amenities services to Clubs and Hotels guests, as outlined in SOP or as directed by supervisor
Ensure that the amenities are always available for our guests.
Perform all tasks as detailed in daily task list and check list
Full understanding of the Recreation Facilities and activities.
Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of work area of all times
Participate in work related project teams
Develop and maintain a strong working environment with the other departments.
To have a complete knowledge of the products and services offered by the hotel, and in particular all the sports and leisure activities and equipment in the hotel.
Ensure proper accounting procedures are followed when collecting of charging fees for Recreation
Be prepared to assume other Recreation duties or responsibilities as requested by management.
Drive revenues for the department.
With 1-3 years of experience in the same field in hotel industry
With pleasing personality and a well focused individual
Able to handle pressure at work and capability to multi-task
With excellent English communication skills (oral and written)
