Position at Mindshare
The Strategy & Insights Manager plays a key role in providing day-to-day technology and insights support to the team. You will maintain a strong relationship with the day-to-day contacts and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
You will work within a team environment and will be challenged to make contributions in all project phases : Determination of Business Objectives, Measurement Strategy, Data Acquisition, Database Management, and insights
The role :
Manage day to day strategy interface for Brand and Media Teams as well as relevant creative agency partners.
Support in the development of the communication strategies for the client. In collaboration with local markets to inform creative development and local media implementation.
Working with specialist functions within Mindshare, to create compelling audience and channel insights
Provide detailed research support to help guide future communication strategies for our clients
Create award winning, revenue generating, insight driven research studies to help our clients understand their consumers better
Contribute to our overall understanding of the ways in which consumer attitudes, behaviours and beliefs affect the communication processes
Regularly apply a wide spectrum of research techniques, including qualitative and quantitative. Knowing when to apply these techniques - matching the right methodology / technique with the right brief
Evaluate different communication channels / content opportunities, including design and management of projects
Develop and train others in the use of Mindshare proprietary and GroupM tools
Support new business pitches as required.
Build strong client relationships, and be the main research contact for client insight teams, relevant brand managers and media managers
Development and sharing of research in areas that are of specific interest to our clients e.g. consumer groups, channels, advertising effectiveness, consumer trends, shopper behaviour
Key Skills & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in quantitative area, or proven success in a quantitative role
3-5 years of experience in an analytics function;
Proficient in Business Intelligence and Visualization solutions such as Tableau and Datorama
Proven track record at driving collaboration between teams
Enjoys complex problems, fast-paced work environment, the latitude on how to approach a problem & lots of responsibility
Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Excellent written communications skills and presentation skills
Ability to adapt to new software, technologies, and methodologies
Experience writing SQL queries and / or functional experience with ETL processes a plus
