Job Summary and Purpose

Impose high level of quality on NAKILAT’s visual identity. Establish and maintain corporate brand identity, guidelines and visual presentation, both internally and externally.


Key Accountabilities :

Brand Guidelines :

Develop NAKILAT’s corporate brand guidelines.

Standardize Nakilat’s branding for all in-house and external publications and stationery.

Create guidelines for look and feel of NAKILAT intranet / SharePoint.

Website Design :

Redesign the current website and develop materials for web pages when needed.

Consult with relevant internal and external parties to determine objectives and requirements of the different events with the aim of aligning event plans in NAKILAT’s website.

Stay abreast of latest developments in graphic design tools and software to improve quality of design and images utilized for Nakilat’s branding and promotional efforts.

Publication Management :

Oversee production of regular publications, e.g. corporate brochure, annual report, careers brochure, sustainability report, newsletter.

Review and approve design concepts and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts.

Review final layout of publications and suggest areas of improvements.

Promotional Designs :

Develop and design layouts for ad-hoc requirements to support company events and communications e.g. advertisements, invitation cards, greeting cards, flyers, etc.

Generic Accountabilities :

Safety, Health, Environment, & Quality (SHEQ) :

Adhere to all relevant SHEQ policies, procedures, instructions and controls so that NAKILAT provides a safe, world class, secure and environmentally responsible service to customers, the public and its own people.

Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures :

Implement approved policies, processes and procedures, and provide instructions to subordinates to ensure their proper implementation.

Others :

Carry out any other duties as directed by the Public Relations Manager.

Key Result Areas

Develop organization’s corporate brand guidelines

Look after the entire production of publications

Create and update templates for NAKILAT stationery, e.g. press release, letterhead, envelopes, PowerPoint, roll-up banners, media monitoring layout

Respond to ad-hoc requests, e.g. greetings and condolences messages

Interactions and Working Relationships

Internal :

All Divisions / Departments and staff to maintain the visual identity of NAKILAT

External :

Suppliers, printers and graphic design agencies

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Arts & Design or any related field

Experience :

3-5 years of related experience in a similar position / responsibility, preferably in a similar industry

Specialized certificates are preferred

Job Specific Skills :

Knowledge in Brand Identities mainly (2D design)

Adobe Programs Illustrators, Photoshop, InDesign

Knowledge of methods and techniques of graphic design and layout
