You will be responsible for analyzing and troubleshooting delivery issues in a timely fashion. Manage a delivery team to ensure timely and accurate customer deliveries.
Oversee daily activities of delivery team and provide direction and guidance as needed. Plan deliveries by reviewing productivity results and orders.
Establish and monitor delivery routes. Identify variances and implement corrective actions. Mentor and train staff in roles and responsibilities related to delivery processes and procedures.
Supervise and evaluate the work of logistics staff and aid, as necessary. Plan or implement improvements to internal or external logistics systems or processes.
Develop and confirm schedules for the logistics activities. Proactively plan for and negotiate technical difficulties. Perform any other duty, within a reasonable professional boundary, as assigned by Logistics Manager from time to time.
